The EU’s Dance with the Devil: Cheering Israel’s Dark Rampage

Share This:

It was a night that shook the Middle East. Israel launched its fighter jets deep into Iran, raining death from the skies — a brutal, calculated assault meant to send a message. Meanwhile, in the heart of Europe, a cabal of leaders watched from their velvet-lined seats, too frightened or too complicit to do anything but clap and nod.

Paris called for peace… while holding the door for war.
French President Emmanuel Macron spoke with a pious quiver, urging “peace and security” for the region — the same words used when a man slips brass knuckles over trembling hands. In the next breath, he reaffirmed Israel’s right to defend itself. It was like telling an arsonist, “We’re disappointed you set the house ablaze, but we understand why you felt the need to burn it down.”

Berlin joined the chorus.
Germany’s Friedrich Merz spoke like a man still brushing dust from old war maps. “Israel has the right to defend its existence,” he announced, brushing aside the fact that Israel had just thrown the first punch. Peace talks only matter after the bombs fall, it seems.

Brussels refused to see the blood on the floor.
Ursula von der Leyen, Europe’s self-appointed hall monitor, called for restraint — long after the first missiles left their silos. Her words felt like a prayer offered too late, a polite request for civility as the earth shook and the dead refused to stay buried.

Meanwhile, across the table, Türkiye spoke a different truth. President Recep Erdoğan condemned Israel’s attack, warning that it could drag the whole planet down a path of no return. But in the corridors of the EU, no one dared listen.

What we’re watching isn’t a war anymore. It’s a ritual — a dark pageant of hypocrisy where bombs have replaced dialogue, and nations with bloodied hands beg for peace while reaching for another clip of ammo.

The Middle East burns tonight, and Europe shrugs as long as its weapons factories stay warm and its oil flows on time. The cost? The fragile threads that hold together a world already teetering on the edge.

This isn’t about security. This is about terror, masked as diplomacy. And when the music stops, it won’t matter which side you chose — only that the dance claimed you too.
