The numbers coming out of Gaza are beyond comprehension—and they’re getting worse by the day.
Since October 2023, relentless Israeli bombardments have killed at least 62,686 people and left 157,951 wounded, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry. Each day adds more names to the staggering list, turning entire families into statistics.
In just the past 24 hours alone, hospitals across the besieged enclave reported receiving the bodies of 64 more victims and treating 278 injured Palestinians. But the bloodshed isn’t confined to airstrikes or artillery shells—people are now being slaughtered while doing the most basic act of survival: seeking aid.
Hospital officials revealed that in the same 24-hour period, 19 people were killed and 123 others wounded while lining up for desperately needed humanitarian assistance. These were not fighters. They were civilians, many of them parents with children, risking their lives simply to secure food and water.
The horror doesn’t end there. Since the Israel- and US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Facility (GHF) was set up at the end of May, at least 2,095 aid seekers have been killed by Israeli fire and more than 15,431 have been wounded while trying to collect supplies.
Every day Gaza descends deeper into catastrophe, the line between war and massacre blurs further. For tens of thousands of Palestinians, survival itself has become a death sentence.
