In a bold and unexpected announcement, President Donald Trump revealed that the United States has launched a massive airstrike against three critical Iranian nuclear facilities: Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. The operation, announced on Trump’s Truth Social platform, was conducted with precision and reportedly went off “without a hitch.”
“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan,” Trump stated. “All planes are now outside of Iranian air space. A full payload of bombs was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home.”
Trump didn’t shy away from applauding the military. “Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the world that could have done this,” he added.
With tensions running high, the former president appeared to extend an olive branch, urging Tehran to stand down and open the door to negotiations. “It’s time for peace,” he announced.
The Iranians have yet to respond publicly, but the air in the Middle East is charged with uncertainty. The Iranian military has previously warned that any attack on its soil could provoke a sharp retaliation, including strikes on Israeli and American interests. Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Yemen’s Houthis has announced that any American involvement could result in attacks on US warships in the Red Sea.
This latest episode marks a sharp escalation in a conflict that had already been intensifying. The strike came just after Israel launched its “Operation Rising Lion,” a preemptive campaign meant to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon. Tehran has long insisted its nuclear program is purely peaceful, responding to the attack with a flurry of missiles and drones.
As the world holds its breath, one thing is certain: the Middle East just became an even more dangerous and unpredictable place.
