In his interview with Reuters, the Ukrainian leader also said that “any” US president would assist Ukraine if they knew “all the challenges and the result and the damage of the war.”
Previously, in a different interview with broadcaster NBC last Sunday, Zelensky welcomed Trump to Ukraine, swearing to convince the former American president that he would be not able to strike any deals with Russia in “24 minutes.” Trump turned down the offer in a composed statement to United States media outlet Newsmax. Such a journey would create “a dispute of interest” at a time when President Joe Biden’s administration was officially dealing with Kiev, he stated.
Earlier this week, Zelensky also declared that Kiev had a “strategy” that would help it prevail on the battleground and show some “outcomes” by the end of the year.
