Takes a big step to say you were wrong. I was wrong as well, but not in the same way. I had worked with someone who was a LOT like Trump so I didn’t trust him, but I kept supporting Republicans and thought they’d keep him within the lines if something went wrong. I knew two high ranking ones for 25+ years—one House GOP chair and one Attorney General.
By April 9th it was clear something was bad wrong after a particular vote and I drove from Texas to the east coast to meet with my mentor the House chair in person. We met for 2.5 hours at his house and they are just lost. He ended up being the lead defender against the Epstein files. There’s nothing those guys won’t defend after that and this war.

If you voted for Trump the first time you were a hater. You didn’t care about “grabbing them by the pussy” or mocking the man with visual disabilities or not paying thousands of vendors as a businessman or calling McCain a loser because he was caught by the Vietnamkong or accusing Obama of being an illegal alien and therefore illegal as president or thousands of other outright obvious lies. And now you want a following as an adversary to Trump, as a messenger of truth? Pathetic!
I would LOVE to discuss this topic with Chris because as a Nonpartisan, I could see both sides of the coin.
As a Whistleblower, I saw him just as dangerous as Obama when it came to Whistleblowers; although lesser.
Ultimately, I had to go with my conscience; withhold my vote.
