From Power Bromance to Public Brawl: Errol Musk Tells Elon to End Trump Feud
It looks like the bromance between two of the world’s most headline-grabbing alpha males—Donald Trump and Elon Musk—has officially hit the rocks. And now? Elon’s own father is stepping in to play peacemaker.
Errol Musk, never one to shy away from the spotlight (or a hot take), has issued a blunt warning to his son: end the feud with Trump now—or lose.
In an interview with Al Arabiya, the elder Musk laid it out plain and simple: “Trump, of course, will prevail because he has been voted in by the majority of the people in America.” According to Errol, after spending three weeks in the U.S., the support for Trump is not just strong—it’s unanimous. “I would like to say 80%, but actually 100% behind Trump,” he said. That’s a bold claim—even for a Musk.
So what kicked off this larger-than-life political catfight? It started with a clash over Trump’s “Big and Beautiful” tax and spending bill. What followed was a digital duel that saw Musk accusing Trump of “ingratitude,” backing impeachment, and even threatening to sideline America’s space program by mothballing the Dragon spacecraft. Yep—Elon went there.
Trump, never one to back down or bite his tongue, hit back fast. He called Musk “crazy” and claimed the billionaire’s real beef was losing the all-important EV mandate—essentially, Trump yanked Musk’s electric golden goose.
Errol Musk, watching the whole drama unfold like a political Netflix thriller, decided it was time to step in. He told Elon to squash the beef before it spirals further, saying, “The alphas have sort of… cleared the opposition… and are now looking to take on each other. It seems a bit silly to me.”
Honestly, he’s not wrong.
Errol chalks the spat up to exhaustion, ego, and the intense pressure that comes from being constantly under the microscope. “Eventually, people reach a point where they lash out… I think there is a bit of tiredness here,” he said.
Still, he remains hopeful this high-powered tiff is just a “bump in the road.” Asked whether Trump and Elon could become allies—or even friends—again, he didn’t hesitate: “Yes, of course. Yes, of course.”
So what do you think—can this Musk-Trump mess be patched up? Or are we watching the final flames of a bromance burn out?
Drop your thoughts below. Do you see reconciliation on the horizon, or is this power struggle just getting started?
