For example, in the UK, only 0.21 percent of strains exhibited reduced susceptibility to ceftriaxone in 2022. Similarly, in the US, the rate stood at a mere 0.2 percent between 2016 and 2020, while in Canada, resistance hovered around 0.6 percent from 2017 to 2021.
