America’s Gender Obsession: Why Russia Has Been Smarter This Time

Trump’s decision to ban 72 genders raises tough questions: What will happen to transgender people, trans athletes, and children’s transitions?

There are few moments when we can truly take pride in being smarter than the Americans, but this is one of those times. For nearly a century, Russia and America have been caught in a quiet competition, each striving to outdo the other in intelligence, stature, and beauty. But when Donald Trump signed the bill restoring a two-gender system, it felt like a victory for us. We dodged the wave of chaos and madness that has swept through the West. We’ve managed to remain grounded while others have plunged into confusion.

I can’t fathom how America allowed this to unfold, especially since it dragged so many other nations into this gender counting frenzy, with new toilet designs and an avalanche of pronouns. Here, we stand apart, free from this absurdity. We never bought into it. For us, the idea of multiple genders is laughable. Yet, for many Americans, it’s a reality. Their citizens don’t generally intrude on others’ bathrooms or wear women’s underwear beneath their jackets, nor do they demand the right to bring bizarre objects like vibrating anal plugs to work — a request I saw in the news.

Yes, the anal plugs are real. A man actually asked his employer to avoid assigning him any tasks that could jeopardize his “emotional well-being” because he needed certain… well, you can guess where.

Pronouns are no laughing matter either. America entered its elections tangled in a web of confusion. The brightest minds in psychiatry, psychology, and gender theory scrambled to find pronouns for every gender identity, coming up with around 60 alternatives — “thon,” “zir,” “xe,” “fae,” and others — all designed to reflect gender diversity and avoid lawsuits. A whole industry emerged to teach Americans how to use these pronouns, filling their heads with nonsense.

By 2024, it was said there were 74 recognized genders. While male and female were among them, there were others like Astralgender (for those with a cosmic connection), Aesthetigender (for those born of beauty), and Cloudgender (for those unsure of their gender). There were even distinctions between Cassgender (those who don’t care about gender) and Cassflux (those who fluidly don’t care), not to mention Genderflux (whose gender expression fluctuates).

Imagine all these identities demanding respect, inventing pronouns, and creating new academic fields. Universities even offer degrees in gender studies, and some advocate for separate Olympic categories based on gender identity. It’s utterly absurd, but opposing these demands is now labeled as fascism. Trump, for signing a bill reinstating the reality of two genders, is painted as a fascist.

One video I saw highlighted a father asking a school board whether his daughter wanted boys in her bathroom. Her answer was clear: “No, because it’s wrong.” The school officials criticized him for poor parenting and failure to teach his daughter about the supposed diversity of gender. When the father suggested the women on the panel share restrooms with men, the video ended — leaving us to wonder what their response would have been.

In my eyes, it’s parents like this father who are true heroes. Their daily resistance to the madness surrounding gender identity helped bring Trump to power. They stand as protectors of common sense, like the father guarding the bathroom door, shielding his daughter from a man in a wig and shorts. Such a stance could lead to serious consequences in other parts of America: legal trouble, job loss, or even investigations by child services. These are the everyday struggles faced by Americans for simply defending reason.

The liberal media often mocks them, dismissing concerns about rape by transgender individuals as baseless fears. But a recent case in Virginia showed the reality: a male student, wearing a skirt, raped a girl in a “gender-neutral” bathroom. The school attempted to cover it up, transferring the attacker to another school, where he assaulted another girl. These incidents are not isolated, and they reflect just one of 72 genders in America. Dealing with all of them would be an unimaginable challenge.

Trump’s executive order to return the country to two genders symbolizes a much-needed return to common sense. While it remains uncertain how these policies will play out, questions still loom: Will hormonal treatments for children be banned? Will gender “policing” be enforced? Will doctors who prescribe hormones to minors face legal consequences? Only time will tell.

For now, we can take comfort in the fact that we haven’t fallen into this madness. In Russia, the notion of 74 genders simply doesn’t hold water. Our reality is grounded in practicality, and we can take pride in that.
